I am trying to plan a trip for the end of this summer and I am thinking about either San Diego or Corpus Christi. I live in Costa Rica and I think that you can't go wrong there. I prefer the Guanacaste coast and accommodations there range from fancy houses to fancy hotels. I prefer the beach at Playa Conchal for snorkeling, the waters around Coco Island is world famous for diving, world class river fishing for tarpon can be had at Bara Colorado on the North Caribbean coast, The area near Panama called the Oso Peninsula is inexpensive and like stepping back 20 years in time. Southeast has Puerto Viejo and is very interesting with Caribbean food like jerk and a reggae feel to it and is very cheap. Help tell the difference in land or marine hermit!?

My friend came back from the beach last weekend and brought me some seashells. I left them on my desk and went to bed, the next morning one was in the floor. Come to find out there was a tiny little hermit inside. We don't live near the beach and I would hate for this little guy to suffer a horrible death because I do not know how to care for him. If there are things I can check to know if he is a land or marine hermit, it would help a ton. Right now I have him in sand in a moist crabitat. It's been about four days now and with daily misting he is starting to come out, only when i put him on my hand but not in the cage. He hasn't eaten anything and has not been near the water, both fresh and salt. I'm afraid if he doesn't at least eat something soon he won't last much longer. My friend said he found him further up the beach not really near the water. I do not know if that will help any.

Do universities look at what high school you went to?

Well I used to be from a different district in my county, and my mom decided to move me districts after middle school because she said that the school district really close to where i live (different city but really close by, like 5 min) is a much better academically. And i have been at this school for two years now and its been proven to me that the schools are totally different. Way harder here than at my old one. My friends from the other district are all in higher classes than me an in AP and HONORS classes and for my junior i am not taking any of those higher classes. And whats bugging me is that most of them have a chance to go to a university because of their easy grades and i won't be. Trust me guys, i know its like your saying hey their smarter than you, but NO we are at the sane level. Our school gets a lot of transfers from other cities and students from the previous city i went to school their and they also say that it is 10x harder at this school than their previous one. How do I improve my handgun aim?

I have shot around 300 rounds with my 9mm. The first day I barely hit a sheet of notebook paper. The last time I shot I hit the target almost every time if not every time but there was a large cluster about 2 inches high and right. Then most of the rest of the shots were to the right. The next target had a pretty scattered pattern but not very consistent. What can I do to improve my shot? How can I practice at home (snap caps/holding exercises?). I don't want to get out there and waste $25 worth of ammo not improving my technique. I hold the gun with both hands, keep my left eye shut, and I know how to align the sights. Body is generally squared off with the target and I'm about 10-15 yards away.

I go to an extremely competitive public school. Along with pushy Asian parents and highly intelligent and academically successful peers, I feel compelled to go to an Ivy school when I apply for college in high school. Right now I'm in 8th grade, and am starting to thinking about more activities I could start to do to improve my chances. From when grades were actually used (5th grade), I have gotten straight As, including this year. I am in the advanced math (I'm taking Geometry currently and in 9th grade I'll be taking Algebra II). This year, I was a member of Student Council and participated in Cross Country and Spring Track (sadly, I don't excel at running but it is an enjoyable activity for me and I plan to improve). Over the summer I will be volunteering at the library. Freshman year, I will be taking all honors classes and I skipped an art level. I want to do cross country, fencing, and track freshman year. I will also do Interact, Model UN, and Student Council as well. This year, I took the SATs and got an 1830. I got 590 in Critical Reading, 610 in Writing, and 630 in math. If I progress at this rate, do you think I will get accepted into an Ivy League university? Please don't say anything about me starting so early; it's my dream to get into an Ivy (preferably UPenn or Columbia) and I would appreciate any feedback.

Child support is necessary?

Some people just don't get it. Not sure why it was such a huge jump in monthly child support amount. I completely understand the high cost of raising kids. Ultimately, he shouldn't be rude to the child. Explain to him that if he has a problem with the amount, he needs to take it up with child support, not the child. He has responsibilities and needs to set an example of how men act. Let him refuse to sign the papers.....the $905 keeps adding up, month after month. Has anyone who has had financial withdrawing issues from Keiser University been able to resolve anything?

I have taken one class with Keiser so far, I am in need of withdrawing for financial reasons. Whether or not I withdraw academically I am financially responsible for $14,000. I have signed papers stating that I understood this, but no one ever told me. I was under the impression that my Medical Assisting degree was going to be $14.000 but I was "misinformed" and the total cost for the degree is $28,000. I think I was about 6 when my mom first started reading the Harry Potter series to me. I used to blast my Lilo and Stich CD while making up scenarios that I was Hermione and Harry was my boyfriend. I made up this crazy scene where we went hiking, and I had to save Harry by throwing a rope up the mountain and climbing it.. haha. Anyways, to portray this, I took a stuffed snake I got and tried to throw it onto my ceiling fan. This Logitech Notebook Cooling Pad N100 is a great product that really helped me with my computer shutting down constantly due to overheating. But the area where my computer sucks in cold air (under laptop) does not line up perfectly with the area where this product blows cool air. If I move the laptop back & to the left a bit from centered & find that sweet spot, it works perfectly. Light design, yet durable & very quiet fan but sufficient for my computer. I enjoyed this product very much until the fan gave out after 1 year. But then i took it apart myself (which voids warranty). My suggestion: get the warranty paper filled out just in case it doesnt make it all 3 years. I bought my 2nd already & filled it out right away. :-)

I will be a high school junior next year. I took no AP classes in my sophomore year (not because I messed up my freshman year, because I was a transferred student). I am able to take 5 AP and 1 honor classes next year. Here is my schedule: Chemistry AP, Physics AP, English Language and Composition AP, United States History AP, European AP, Calculus Honor (Requirement for Calculus AB/BC for my senior year of calculus AP), Gym and lunch. Does anyone who has any idea or experience of whether or not should I take 5 AP classes and 1 honor in only 1 year. I heard that AP classes will make you want to die (especially if I take 5 AP in 1 year). I have straight A's in my freshman and sophomore year (which I have a 4.02 GPA). I am questioning my intelligence at the moment as I have made mistakes both recently and in the past, which would indicate that I am stupid. I do well academically but that doesn't mean I'm not stupid, that could just mean that I've studied harder than other people and it does seem likely. I have shot around 300 rounds with my 9mm. The first day I barely hit a sheet of notebook paper. The last time I shot I hit the target almost every time if not every time but there was a large cluster about 2 inches high and right. Then most of the rest of the shots were to the right. The next target had a pretty scattered pattern but not very consistent. What can I do to improve my shot? How can I practice at home (snap caps/holding exercises?). Someone at work dropped something resulting in a very loud crash. Ever since then (approx. two days), my hearing has gotten very very sensitive to certain noises. It's possible though that I just noticed it at that point and it had started earlier. I don't have a headache and really don't notice any kind of change outside of when dealing with certain tones (flushing toilets for example). I think there a lot of ways to learn how to overcome your problem. Perhaps you should see a speech therapist and see what they recommend.. it might simply be related to anxiety or maybe you have to strengthen something through repetition. I do think it would put you at a disadvantage in most cases.. in my experience, if you're able to speak well.. as when conducting an interview properly for example, it's generally just as or more important than grades. but I think it's definitely treatable.. so definitely look into speech therapy. Sometimes it could be really simple.. something like stress could cause that.. that sucks that you have that reputation now, must not feel too good.. but try not to let it upset you too much.. be confident.

We found an animal cage hanging in a tree near a lake. Tied to the top cage wires was a white handsewn bag tied in a way that left it dangling in the middle/inside the wire cage. There is a mole on my back?

Ok so I found a mole on my upper back and I don't know what it's from. I went to Florida last week and was in the sun a lot... When I got home is when I noticed it. I have a lot of freckles everywhere, and a couple of moles here and there, but they are flat. This one sticks out. It's really small though. I can reach it if I put my hand back there, and it feels like you can just rip it right off. (Of course I won't though). What should I do? Why annot play Blu-rays from HP notebook to HDTV ?

2 BAD dreams about my mom?!?

I have to decide within the next few days whether to go to University of North Carolina Chapel Hill or University or Maryland Baltimore County. I think UNC has a better reputation academically and more name recognition, but I really liked the campus and the atmosphere of UMBC. UNC is a huge school, and I don't know if I would really like that. Also, UNC is a lot further away from where my family lives. Which college would you choose? Would it be stupid to chose to go UMBC because I like the environment more when UNC is a more well-known school?

My first experience with these lists was not pretty. I talked to the teacher, and eventually the principle, and said "Look, my kid will come to school with pencil and paper. If he needs anything else I'm quite certain my tax dollars will pay for it." Of course that didn't work. So then I went ahead and bought all this stuff, but I insisted that most of it stayed at the house and was only taken to school as needed. They agreed. And by the end of the year all the other kids had lost most of their stuff, or it was stolen, but my kids had over half of theirs left. Used it the next year.

Caffeine, not enough sleep, to much pressure, certain medications, ext. ext. It's helpful to have a friend to talk to or someone who knows you and understands you and can talk you out of irrational fears.

FOUND. Animal Sacrifice Ritual?

We found an animal cage hanging in a tree near a lake. Tied to the top cage wires was a white handsewn bag tied in a way that left it dangling in the middle/inside the wire cage. I've found a lot of people who go into psychology have some major problems of their own and hense why they are so interested in the subject. I have found though that having your own problems only makes you better at helping others. I haven't had any major psychological problems and so I don't feel like I could understand what someone who is going through depression or alcoholism is going through.

One of the greatest indian mathematicians Ramanujan died at 32 only. He never went to university or school. He was self-taught in math and did home study only without any kind of textbook. Also he was poor man and unskilled labor jobs is all he did. However, in his notebook he created very amazing formulas for 1/pi and similar stuff, which happened to be extremely accurate. He created a series of notebooks known as "lost notebooks". All these notebooks were prior to 1920 and were hand-written. Those hand-written pages of his notebook have now been scanned and uploaded on internet in the link below. However, I do not understand anything in his lost notebooks. I am a math major in university. I graduate next year, but I cannot make heads nor tails of his notebook material. How did Ramanuja create such stuff on his own without any schooling or education? That too when he was poor man. These notebooks are over 90 years old, and even today the material seem so hard to understand.

well you may want to take out the shell and clean it very well with soap and watter,maybee scrub it with a toothbrush to get in the small cracks, then let it soak in bleach for about two days or so, rinse it off, and put it back in the tank, allow the watter to cycle for about 24 hours and it should be fine, i am justguessingg but i think that would be best considering it came out of the ocean, with bacteria anddisuses from all sorts ofsea creaturess. not to scare you oranything lolz =)

I received a samsung notebook laptop RV series as a graduation gift. It was having major problems with the mouse so i took it back to best buy for a new one. But the new one has the same problem. The problem is this: whenever i use the mouse touch pad thing it starts jumping around my screen and i cant focus it on anything, and it tries to resist moving or moves to slow, and clicks on things by itself. But i noticed that whenever i have it on a flat surface, like my desk, it has these problems, but if its on my lap or held in the air it acts perfectly fine without issue. Whats wrong with it? Will spraying compressed air into keyboard clean it?

Will spraying compressed air into a laptop keyboard really clean the stickyness or what ever junk is inside? Or just putting rubbing alcohol around the key and spraying it with compressed air so it cleans it off. Does that really work? Because I spilled gatorade on my laptop like 1-2 weeks ago, everything is fine, its just that my keyboard is kind of jacked up at the moment. The piece is removable. It's a little black piece that connects the SATA hard drive to the motherboard. It's definitely not a SATA to PATA adapter. It is located inside a Hewlett-Packard DV6636 notebook. It is located in some newer laptops, but the difference is that the newer pieces have a cable running from the adapter piece to the motherboard. The one I need is straight adapter that connects to the motherboard directly...no cable. Anybody know where I can find one? At the very least, does anyone know what it's called? Thanks, guys.
