Shell from the ocean in my tropical aquarium?

well you may want to take out the shell and clean it very well with soap and watter,maybee scrub it with a toothbrush to get in the small cracks, then let it soak in bleach for about two days or so, rinse it off, and put it back in the tank, allow the watter to cycle for about 24 hours and it should be fine, i am justguessingg but i think that would be best considering it came out of the ocean, with bacteria anddisuses from all sorts ofsea creaturess. not to scare you oranything lolz =)
