Why are my built-in webcam and microphone not working properly? Please Help!?

I have an Asus K40in Notebook and it recently "crashed" i guess and i took it to Best Buy so they could fix it. So now i'm trying to use my webcam for like ooVoo and other things like that, but the image is UPSIDE DOWN :/ and on top of that, my internal microphone isn't working either anymore. How can i get my webcam to be right side up again ? And how can i get my microphone to work again? Help?
