I think my friend is becoming an alcoholic, what should I do?

Its hard to say i went through a period of like 6 months getting drunk as often as possible when i was about 19. My best friend was with me one night and i said the same kinda thing ur friend said.But i was just drunk and being dumb.Anyway i just grew out of that phase don't know if anyone was worried about me or not.
